SiSoft provides award-winning EDA simulation software, methodology training and consulting services for system-level high-speed design. Quantum Channel Designer is the Industry’s Premier Channel Simulator for the design and analysis of multi-Gigabit serial links and a DesignVision Award Winner. Quantum-SI is the leading solution for integrated signal integrity, timing and crosstalk analysis of high-speed parallel interfaces. SiSoft’s software products automate comprehensive pre- and post-route analysis of high speed interfaces, detailing a design’s operating voltage and timing margins. Design Space Exploration lets designers explore hundreds of design tradeoffs automatically, quickly optimizing designs for cost, reliability and performance.
SiSoft’s staff of recognized industry experts keeps SiSoft’s products at the forefront of high-speed design by using them every day to perform state-of-the-art design and analysis. SiSoft provides a full range of model development, design analysis and methodology training services. SiSoft’s consultants can analyze your high-speed design for you, or provide the tools and training you need to perform high-speed design analysis in-house.
Signal Integrity Software (SiSoft) was founded in 1995 as a high-speed design consulting company. We are headquartered in Maynard, MA in the "Old Mill" building that served as the headquarters for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). Many of our founders worked at DEC and some of the technology at SiSoft has its root in work done at DEC. As our consulting business grew, we began developing in-house tools to make ourselves more efficient. Our consulting clients took notice of how quickly and efficiently we were able to complete projects, and began demanding access to our tools for their own use - and our software business was born. Our first commercial software product, SiAuditor, was introduced in 2001. SiAuditor gained popularity quickly among experienced SI engineers and was superceded in 2004 by Quantum-SI, which includes our own optimized simulation engine. SiSoft began development of a new class of simulation tool for dedicated serial link analysis in 2006, resulting in the 2008 introduction of Quantum Channel Designer.
