Maynard, MA --(BUSINESS WIRE) - January 30, 2004 - Signal Integrity Software, Inc. (SiSoft™), an EDA software and services company specializing in high-speed interconnect design and analysis, today announced an OEM agreement with Intusoft®. The agreement will allow SiSoft to ship Intusoft's IsSpice4™ simulation technology as an integral part of SiSoft's new signal integrity product family to be introduced later this year. The new offering will complement SiSoft's existing SiAuditor™ products, allowing the company to meet the needs of a much broader range of customers with its powerful system-level signal integrity analysis solutions.
"The Intusoft partnership is a key milestone in a series of planned partnerships and acquisitions that support our expansion into the signal integrity analysis market," said Barry Katz, SiSoft's President and CTO. "The new product family will provide lower cost IBIS-based signal integrity, timing and crosstalk analysis capabilities for pre layout analysis and post-layout verification flows. SiSoft's two product families will provide the widest range of product functionality available and will be offered at exceptional price points that virtually any company with signal integrity needs will be able to afford." Katz expects the addition of its new product family to play a key role in achieving a dominant position in key signal integrity markets over the next 12 to 24 months. "Our SiAuditor products have been doing very well in head to head competition against products from other major EDA companies, and we are displacing the competition in a number of larger key accounts."
The relationship with SiSoft is timely, according to Tim Ghazaleh, Director of Marketing for Intusoft. "Our IsSpice4 technology was recently announced as the simulation backbone for the client-server product of a major IC producer, and now finds another critical use inside SiSoft's new product offering. SiSoft augments our growing list of partners who use our core technology as their underlying simulator." Intusoft's President, Larry Meares, added, "Our joint collaboration will provide unprecedented price/performance value to customers in today's rapidly expanding signal integrity EDA market, while providing significant growth opportunities for both companies. This partnership marks only the beginning of a technological breakthrough aimed at providing powerful and affordable solutions to a growing community of engineering professionals."
SiSoft will be debuting an early version of their new signal integrity offering using the Intusoft simulation kernel at DesignCon February 3-4 in Santa Clara, California. More information can be found at www.designcon.com. About Signal Integrity Software, Inc.
