SiSoft Announces Quick Turn Signal Integrity and Timing Analysis Services

MAYNARD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 22, 2003--Signal Integrity Software, Inc. (SiSoft) is offering new low cost pre-layout and post-layout analysis services for standard interface configurations, including AGP, PCI, PCI-X, PowerPC, DDR-SDRAM, SDRAM, DDR-SRAM, QDR-SRAM, SPI-3, SPI-4, HyperTransport and others. "We are able to offer this unparalleled consulting services value to customers by leveraging the design analysis reuse capabilities of SiAuditor(TM), our integrated signal integrity and timing analysis environment," said Barry Katz, SiSoft's President and CTO.

SiSoft's President pointed out that a growing number of companies are experiencing a sharp upturn in system-level signal integrity and timing issues that result in project delays and increased cost. "Many companies do not have in-house system-level signal integrity and timing analysis expertise. Companies that do have the expertise may experience peak overloads that require periodic outsourcing," said Barry Katz. "Our new quick turn signal integrity analysis services will address the needs of both groups by providing expert resources at very affordable prices."

"SiSoft's quick turn signal integrity analysis service is simple and easy-to-use." stated Douglas Burns, SiSoft's Chief Consultant. "A customer submits a completed pre- or post-layout questionnaire to SiSoft and then we send the customer a quote within two business days." Doug Burns reported that SiSoft has successfully completed a pilot program of this new service and has received very positive feedback from prospective customers that were polled about this new service.

Initial pre-layout and post-layout analysis pricing starts at $4,000 per interface, according to Barry Katz. Once the customer's design issues are corrected, SiSoft will rerun analysis on the same interface for as little as $2,000 per spin. "At these prices, SiSoft is offering its customers unparalleled value with an immediate return on their investment," said Barry Katz. "Depending upon the type and number of interfaces to be analyzed, customers will receive their analysis results in as little as two weeks."

In addition to SiAuditor, SiSoft offers a full range of system-level signal integrity analysis services that include advanced technology assessments; package and connector analysis; IBIS model generation and validation; and exhaustive pre- and post-layout analysis.
